Privacy policy

What we collect

• Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you write. If you email or book a call, we receive whatever you include.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use a short-lived record of IP addresses to rate-limit the contact form against spam.
• Client information. During an engagement we may handle data belonging to your business. That is governed by our written agreement with you, not by this policy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers.
• We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels on this site.
• We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
• We do not put your information into consumer AI chatbots. Where we use AI tools in our work, we use business-tier services configured so that your data is not used to train models.

How we use what you send

We use your message to reply to you, to understand what you need, and to keep a record of our conversation. That is all. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Service providers

A few vendors process information on our behalf, each bound by their own contractual and security obligations:

• Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
• Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Workspace — our email; messages you send us live there.
• Our scheduling provider — if you book a call, they collect your name, email, and chosen time under their own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions live in our email indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Rate-limiting records of IP addresses are discarded within minutes. Server logs are retained by our host on their standard schedule.

Your choices

Email hello@fiveamteam.com and we will tell you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have specific rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to object to certain processing — the same email address gets you all of them. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. We are a small U.S. business; information you send us is stored in the United States.

Children

This site is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
